Professor Gamini Dissanayake is the James N Kirby Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). He earned his B.Sc. in Machine Tool Technology and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Birmingham in England. Professor Dissanayake founded the UTS Centre for Autonomous Systems at UTS. He established UTS' robotics research team, which focuses on robotics research.
Mr. Jagath Jayasundara counts over fourteen years 'of industry leadership experience at the time of engagement in this new role. He has acted in various capacities during his long-standing career at Regnis (Lanka) PLC. Mr. Jagath Jayasundara holds a BSc. Engineering degree specialized in production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration from the Post graduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2014. Also, he is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.
